Playing for Glory
Playing for Glory is where Rugby and Romance meet. Rugby players are strong and tough - both mentally and physically. Or are they?
Playing for Glory is the result of a botched Inter-provincial Cup Final and the management of the Buffaloes Rugby Football Club's dream to win the new International Challenge Cup Competition.
Nicholas Carter, the CEO of the Buffaloes believed the players would only be able to experience the glory if they took charge of their own destiny. They needed to put their focus solely on the competition.
Neither Nicholas nor the players had taken into account that it did not matter how you plan, life, and love, seemed to find you, even if you tried your best to resist. That is what Playing for Glory is all about: the love, life, and heartaches of one of the smallest professional rugby clubs in South Africa.
Manuscripts in the series include Eye on the Ball and Obstruction. Further books scheduled for publishing in 2018 are Leading from the Front, Blood Brothers and Wrecking Ball.
