Sweet Songs of Summer: An Anthology (Part 1)
The Romance Writers Organization of South Africa (ROSA) will release Sweet Songs of Summer, on 20 May 2021. This is my first time being part of an anthology, and I promise you, it is not easy to write a love story in 15000 words! Not for me, anyway. I love long, long stories as you will know.
I wrote Choices, the first story in the On the Sidelines Series for ROSA's anthology which was supposed to be published in 2020. When it was cancelled, I self-published Choices so when ROSA decided to published the planned 2020 anthologies in 2021, I needed to write a new story!
My story is called Chances, and will eventually be the second book in the On the Sidelines Series. Chances is the story of Jesse Summers, the twin brother of my FC, Angie Summers, in my debut novel Eye on the Ball.
Best friends shouldn’t look like Lia Moorcroft, nor should they make you feel things like she does. Jesse Summers realized it the moment the girl he knew, since she was in diapers, crashed into him after disappearing for eight long years. He needed a little time to get used to the new Lia. It isn’t too much to ask, or is it?
Things never turn out the way you imagine them to. Soon, Jesse and Lia find out that Lia will be Jesse’s new intern. Both treasure their friendship and will do anything to protect it, even burying their growing feelings. But how long can they do that?

THE WEDDING SEASON
On 18 July 2019 (Mandela Day in South Africa), the Romance Writers Organization of South Africa (ROSA) released its first anthology of romantic short stories, all themed around weddings, written by ten of their published members. The proceeds of that anthology went to ROSA's scholarship fund and the Athol Williams Read to Rise literacy charity.
SUMMER SINGLES
On the 18th of March 2021, ROSA released its first themed anthology. Summer Singles is a collection of nine steamy romantic short stories, written by a few of our talented members - both published and unpublished.
